Three shades of Autumn…

The best season of the year is here, in my opinion. Layering season is upon us and it’s stunning colours have made it into my handmade wardrobe. I’m currently in love with wearing the Ray Oversized shirt on top of the Lana Rib top tucked in to the Jessie Skirt, all shades of brown that make for a very good combo. Brown was never my go to colour to dress with, my go to was black , white and grey, the safe options some may say, but now I’m thinking what took me so long!? it’s such a great neutral that lends itself well with a variation of colours, try replacing black with brown and see how it works for you.

These shades of brown really do compliment so many if not all complexions, it’s just a little softer and richer in tone than the classic black, don’t get me wrong I will still be wearing black, but brown has crept up on me and I’m loving it.

I teamed up my shades of brown with black/brown boots from Toast, and lightweight socks, sock are so underrated, they can really make or brake an outfit. for good quality socks I always go for Falke, the merino silk mix ones are great, and breathable more importantly.

I generally keep my nails plain but if I do opt for nail varnish I tend to go with Ashe, they have great shades and it’s vegan, currently stocked in Two Six Four, a shop I co-own in Bristol where you can find samples of my new pieces, see the fabric and try on the samples in real life.
